Most clients start with a Founder Strategy Session or a short diagnostic so we can see what’s really going on. From there we agree the priorities, choose the right mix of Strategy, Performance, and Systems support, and set a simple cadence for check‑ins and reporting. No long‑term contracts by default.
Do you work with businesses outside New Zealand?
Yes, but our deepest experience is with New Zealand‑based service businesses and franchises. We’re set up for NZ tax, payroll, compliance and time zones first, then Australia and beyond where it makes sense.
Is this coaching, done‑for‑you, or something in between?
All three exist here. Strategy is where we think with you, Performance is where we help you get the work done, and Systems is where we build and run the underlying ops. Most clients use a mix over time rather than one mode forever.
Do you lock people into retainers?
While we do often work on a retainer model, we do not lock people into time-bound long term retainers. We prefer to earn the right to stick around. If your needs change, we’ll adjust scope rather than pretending the original plan still fits. We also work on one-off projects.
Strategy
What actually happens in a Founder Strategy Session?
We map your goals, offers, capacity, numbers, and current marketing, then identify the handful of decisions that will change the most: what to stop, what to double down on, and what to fix next. You leave with a written plan and clear priorities, not just a chat.
Do you only do marketing strategy, or wider business strategy too?
We start from the business model: offers, pricing, delivery, capacity and finances. Marketing strategy sits on top of that, so we won’t recommend “more marketing” if the business underneath can’t support it yet.
Can you just review my existing strategy instead of starting from scratch?
Yes. We’re happy to audit what you already have, point out gaps, and suggest adjustments so you don’t throw out work that’s still useful.
Performance
What kind of “stuck” work do you help with?
Performance is for messy marketing, stalled projects, clunky systems and admin that keeps eating time. That might look like half‑launched campaigns, ads you’re scared to turn on, a project that’s dragging, or a backlog of decisions no one has time to make.
How is Performance different from hiring a VA or a marketer?
Instead of plugging one person into one role, we look at the whole flow: what you’re trying to achieve, where it’s jamming, and which mix of skills you actually need. Sometimes that’s social and ads, sometimes it’s ops and admin, sometimes it’s both.
Can you jump into urgent work or turnarounds?
Yes, as long as we’re clear about scope and what “good enough” looks like for now. We’d rather stabilise issues properly than say yes to impossible timelines.
Systems
What do you mean by “systems” work?
Systems is everything behind the scenes that keeps your business running: email and file management, CRM, HR and onboarding basics, payroll, bank reconciliation, inventory, and the tools that connect them. If it’s how work moves, it probably lives here.
Do you recommend and set up tools, or just document processes?
Both. We audit the tools you’re already using, decide what to keep or change, help you configure them properly, and document the key workflows so your team can actually follow them.
Can you work with our existing bookkeeper or accountant?
Yes. We’re happy to sit alongside your accountant or bookkeeper, handling the day‑to‑day systems and comms while they focus on compliance and higher‑level advice.
Virtual assistance & ops
Yes, but it now sits under our Performance and Systems work. We use VA‑style support to keep things moving once strategy and systems are in a better place, rather than treating it as a standalone fix.
Inbox and calendar management, basic client comms, document and file organisation, follow‑up tasks, light project coordination, and other operational admin that doesn’t need to sit on your desk.
You’re matched with a lead and backup from our team so there’s continuity if someone is away. We keep shared documentation and access in place so support doesn’t disappear when life happens.
Why hire a Virtual Assistant?
Hiring a virtual assistant or executive assistant can greatly enhance productivity and efficiency, allowing you to focus on the things you really want to, and achieve your strategic goals.
Our team are experts in administrative support, scheduling, project management, and generally making your life easier. We handle time-consuming tasks, streamline workflows, and ensure smooth operations so that you don’t have to think about it.
Having a quality virtual assistant means having more flexibility, saving time and money, and having access to a wide range of skills for those day-to-day responsibilities.
Full-time employee.
Virtual assistant.
We make your life easier.
We save you money.
We save you stress.
So what’s holding you back?
Money & practicalities
We quote based on the mix of strategy, implementation, and systems you need, not billable hours you have to police. Some pieces are project‑based, some are retainers, and some (like workshops) are clearly priced products.
No. One‑off sessions and diagnostics are available if you want to start smaller.
Clarity on your goals, honest access to what’s really happening (numbers, tools, logins), and a point person on your side who can make decisions. We’ll guide you through the rest.
